Jason is a passionate leader who promotes a strong, positive safety environment on every project site and is adept at ensuring each project team member is using best safety practices on a daily basis. Jason joined Christman Constructors, Inc. (CCI) in 2014, having worked with CCI's parent company, The Christman Company, as a project safety manager since 2009 where he served as the lead safety representative on numerous MIOSHA partnership projects. Prior to his role at Christman, Jason gained valuable experience working as a safety and environmental officer responsible for overseeing the health and safety practices at project sites, conducting environmental investigations and training employees on health and safety protocols. His wide range of experience includes brownfield redevelopment, historical preservation, superfund clean-up, military projects, and overseas work involved with pipeline spill investigations. Jason is a safety council member for both the American Society of Concrete Contractors (ASCC) and the Construction Association of Michigan (CAM). In addition to being an Authorized OSHA Outreach Trainer, Jason has held licenses as a Professional Geologist (P.G.), Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM), EPA AHERA Asbestos Inspector, and storm water pollution and prevention inspector.
