The Christman Company has announced the promotion of leaders at the construction management and real estate development firm’s corporate headquarters in Lansing, Michigan and across its regional offices.

The Christman Company is excited to announce the induction of Thomas R. Whitmore, Vice President of Historic Preservation, into the Association for Preservation Technology (APT) College of Fellows. 

The Christman Company has donated needed goods, including clothing and backpacks, to the Knox County Isaiah 117 House so that children entering the foster care system can have new, clean items at a stressful time when comfort is needed.

The Engineering News-Record (ENR), a news outlet known as the authority for tracking the construction industry, has placed The Christman Company (Christman) at #92 on its 2021 “ENR 400” list of the top 400 contractors nationally.

On June 10, The Christman Company, a national construction and real estate development firm, based in Lansing, Michigan, announced the creation of the Christman Building Innovation Group (CBIG) to initiate, champion and drive innovation and excellence across its self-perform services.

Christman Constructors, Inc. President Selected for MSU’s 2021 Civil and Environmental Engineering Distinguished Alumni Award

Nine distinguished alumni of the Michigan State University (MSU) College of Engineering were honored Saturday at a virtual ceremony to celebrate the 2021 Alumni Awards. Among the alumni recognized was Christman Constructors, Inc. President, Douglas J. Peters, who received the Civil and Environmental Engineering Distinguished Alumni Award. 

The Christman Company earned top honors in the large business excellence category in the Knoxville Chamber’s 2021 Pinnacle Business Awards. 

The strength of collaboration is at the center of a new workforce safety and training agreement, where the combined focus is on zero worker injuries and incidents during the rehabilitation and construction of Ford’s Michigan Central Station. 

The Construction Association of Michigan is excited to announce that The Henry Ford Detroit Pistons Performance Center has been selected as the 2020 CAM Magazine Project of the Year. Congratulations to the Detroit Pistons, the Henry Ford Health System, ROSSETTI, Hobbs + Black Architects, and the Christman-Brinker joint venture formed of The Christman Company and the L.S. Brinker Company.

The Christman Company (Christman) announces their phased approach to leadership succession in West Michigan. Dan LaMore, P.E., Senior Vice President and Principal-in-Charge of West Michigan Operations will transition leadership of West Michigan operations to Jacob Kulhanek, P.E., ATD, LEED AP, who has been promoted to Vice President and General Manager.
