Brian Crissman promoted to vice president of healthcare services at The Christman Company

Christman’s focus on multi-region healthcare solidified with promotion of Crissman

Brian Crissman has been named The Christman Company’s vice president of healthcare services, dedicated to leading and expanding the vital market segment which accounts for approximately 30 percent of Christman’s revenue.

“It is a great honor to recognize Brian’s dedication and hard work,” said Steve Roznowski, president and CEO for The Christman Company. “His understanding of current healthcare trends, ability to develop relationships and focus on delivering exceptional client services to this important market made Brian a perfect fit for this critical role at Christman.”

During Crissman’s 26-year career at Christman, he has led some of the company’s most iconic healthcare projects. Particularly, through his leadership at Spectrum Health (now Corewell Health), in West Michigan, Crissman has managed the successful completion of hundreds of millions of dollars in new construction and expansion projects. His extensive knowledge of the unique requirements of healthcare construction allows him to provide innovative solutions early in each of his projects.

John O’Toole, The Christman Company’s senior vice president of healthcare services, remains with the company, managing several major healthcare construction launches that were recently awarded to the company under his guidance.  O’Toole, while not planning to retire immediately, is excited to partner with Crissman creating a mentorship relationship that will allow the company to smoothly transition after he does retire.

“This succession planning provides us the opportunity to continue offering top-notch service to each market we serve,” said O’Toole. “Brian is an energetic leader who has extensive experience directing large, complex healthcare projects. His history and ability to successfully deliver upon our promises will be key for Christman’s continued growth as a national healthcare construction provider.”

Crissman will immediately provide oversight to Christman’s healthcare project teams and focus on building relationships across each of the eight offices in the company’s five states.
