Doug oversees all operations for Christman Building Innovation Group (CBIG). In this role, he leads CBIG to deliver better service, cost efficiencies, safety solutions, technology advances and innovative practices for self-perform operations nationally. Doug joined Christman in 2001 as a project manager, and was promoted to Director of Concrete Operations in 2007, to Vice President of Christman Constructors, Inc. in 2009, to Executive Vice President in 2014, and to President in 2016. Doug became President of Christman Building Innovation Group in 2021. Prior to joining Christman, Doug spent four years with the Army Corps of Engineers and was a commissioned officer. After serving with the U.S. Army, he worked for a national concrete construction services firm. Doug is a member of the American Society of Concrete Contractors Safety and Risk Management Council and is an Associate Member of the American Concrete Institute (ACI) Committee 207-Mass Concrete and ACI Committee 347-Formwork. He is a registered Professional Engineer in Michigan and Virginia. He is also a member of the Christman Constructors board of directors.
