General Services Administration
Originally constructed in the 1990s and used as a data center, this 10-story building is now home to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) in addition to a large amount of vacant space. This project included a renovation of the IRS offices as well as renovations to the unused areas for incoming tenants from seven different federal agencies. Work included alterations to major mechanical, electrical and fire protection equipment throughout the building, as well as major consolidation and reconfiguration efforts to implement new workplace strategies.
