Corewell Health
The renovation of the 1st and 2nd floors of the Lemmen-Holton Cancer Pavilion expanded essential cancer services while modernizing the spaces to better serve patients and caregivers across West Michigan. Refreshed waiting areas on the first floor create a more welcoming and calming arrival experience, while renovated exam rooms support efficient and patient focused care, upgraded staff workspaces improve collaboration and workflow and enhanced support areas better accommodate daily clinical operations. On the second floor, the renovation included a new infusion treatment area with 18 infusion chairs, ten private treatment rooms and eight modern infusion bays. Enhanced clinic space added 14 exam rooms, a dedicated treatment room for in‑clinic bone marrow biopsies and additional space to support more providers. The state‑of‑the‑art clinical environment was thoughtfully designed to support healing, comfort and dignity while uplifting both patients and caregivers. All construction was carefully phased to minimize disruption to daily operations, allowing uninterrupted patient care throughout the renovation.
