High Point Medical Center OR and Cardiology Renovation

Renovations to this existing space included two new endoscopy and one bronchoscopy room, a new PACU space, a new pre-op/holding suite, anesthesia suite and all required support spaces. The cardiology portion of the project included the addition of two electrophysiology labs, the renovation of two heart cath labs, pre- and post-procedure rooms, multiple cardiovascular rooms, and support spaces. The project also included the addition of one new air handling unit as well as relocation and installation of multiple UPS units.

Working in phases, all logistics and safety measures demanded close communication with both hospital leadership and staff. Christman’s primary focus was keeping the hospital functional and safe. The team held monthly meetings with hospital management and also consistently discussed construction plans with doctors and nurses to ensure everyone was informed.
