Lansing Community College
With the need for adequate parking having been an ongoing challenge for the College, construction of this new ramp was critical to easing that strain for the campus. This precast parking deck boasts five levels with a variety of features that making parking easier and faster. Christman worked with the owner and design team to ensure the project met the College’s needs, even after community concerns caused them to change from two parking structures to one larger deck. Despite this and other challenges, the project was completed on budget and two weeks ahead of schedule, so the parking ramp was ready to welcome students, faculty and staff before the start of the new semester.
