Collin County is delivering a major capital improvement project at its central McKinney campus, focused on expanding public health services and supporting long‑term growth. The project includes a new four‑story, 90,000‑SF County Healthcare Facility with space reserved for future expansion, a 20,000‑SF Medical Examiner’s building, a 485‑space parking garage, and associated site improvements.

By relocating key healthcare and medical examiner services to the main campus, the County is creating a centralized hub for public health and safety. Supported in part by federal pandemic relief funding, the project reflects Collin County’s commitment to improving access to healthcare, strengthening community services, and preparing for the future.
