The project also included a new surface lot. In an effort to minimize disruptions to the hospital’s daily operations and its surrounding residential neighborhoods, the project team was committed to being a good neighbor and project partner. The team provided consistent communication about any potential impacts and limited loud work to designated time frames. The project team also worked to design the new parking structures in a way that would maintain the neighborhood’s historic character and limit changes to sightlines, incorporating a variety of architectural finishes to the exterior that fit the landscape of the surrounding area. Upon completion, the ramp was only 20 feet above ground at its highest point. The project also included landscaping and site work.
