Wyoming Public Schools

2017 Bond Program

Made possible through a successful bond issue in 2017, the community's support allowed the district to make much-needed investments across numerous buildings.

At the high school campus, a two-story, 30-classroom addition modernized the outdated facility and established adaptable learning spaces. Work also included athletic upgrades, an office relocation to enhance security, new bus loop, and infrastructure upgrades. Renovations to the cafeteria, media center and existing classrooms were also completed.

The scope also included renovations at four elementary schools, which all received new roofs, mechanical systems with air conditioning throughout, classroom updates, new furniture, new windows, playground upgrades, parking and traffic flow improvements, and updated secure entryways.

Similar transformations took place at the intermediate school, regional center for adult education, early childhood education center, and junior high school. These projects encompass classroom upgrades, building remodeling for ADA access, new mechanical systems, technology infrastructure enhancements, parking and student drop-off/pick-up improvements, and partial roof replacements.
