Which browsers work best for submitting a Workday application?

Workday performs best in Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge. We recommend avoiding Safari or mobile browsers when possible.

I’m having submission errors. Should I clear my cache and cookies?

Yes! Clearing your browser’s cache and cookies often resolves many issues. For Chrome:

  1. Go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Clear browsing data
  2. Select Cookies & Cached Images → Clear
  3. Restart your browser and try again

 

Can I apply using my mobile device?

We strongly recommend using a desktop or laptop. Mobile devices often struggle with resume parsing, file attachments and required field validation.

 

Are there guidelines for submitting my resume?

Yes, to avoid upload issues:

  • Use PDF or DOCX format
  • Rename your file with no special characters (e.g., Firstname_Lastname_Resume.pdf)
  • Keep file size under 5MB

 

Why isn’t my application submitting even though I filled everything out?

Double-check all required fields. Even one blank required field will block submission. Commonly missed items include:

  • Location preference
  • Work authorization question
  • Education section
  • “I agree” checkboxes

 

Can browser auto-fill cause issues?

Yes. Auto-fill can break fields without showing an error. We recommend manually typing information instead of using saved data.

 

Nothing seems to work. What should I do?

Try starting fresh:

  1. Log out
  2. Close your browser
  3. Open a new browser window

 

Do I need to create an account to apply?

Yes. Workday requires you to create an account to submit your application and track your status. We recommend saving your login information for future access.

 

Can I save my application and come back later?

Yes, you can save your progress and return at any time by logging back into your Workday account.

 

Why is my resume not uploading or parsing correctly?

Resume parsing isn’t always perfect. If your information doesn’t auto-fill correctly:

  • Review all fields after upload
  • Manually enter or correct missing details
  • Use simple formatting (avoid tables, graphics, or columns)

 

How do I know if my application was successfully submitted?

You’ll see a confirmation message on the screen and receive a confirmation email. You can also log into your account to check your application status.

 

Can I apply for multiple positions?

Absolutely. You’re welcome to apply to any roles that match your experience and interests.

 

What should I do if I forgot my password?

Use the “Forgot Password” link on the login page to reset it. If you don’t receive the email, be sure to check your spam or junk folder.
