To accommodate growing cargo volumes and streamline operations, this major airport logistics expansion was designed to consolidate air and ground distribution activities into a single, highly efficient hub. Delivered on an accelerated 23-month schedule within an active aviation environment, the project required careful coordination to maintain the safety, security and uninterrupted operations of one of the region's busiest transportation facilities. The completed development enhanced cargo-processing capacity, improved operational efficiency and created a modern infrastructure platform capable of supporting future growth. The multi-building campus centers around a two-story administration and sort facility that seamlessly connects aircraft and truck operations through an integrated sorting and distribution system. Additional structures support critical functions including power generation, equipment maintenance, vehicle washing, de-icing operations and material handling. Extensive site improvements included environmental remediation, aircraft apron expansion, new aircraft parking positions, airside paving, underground stormwater infrastructure, security enhancements and roadway upgrades. Through detailed phasing, rigorous safety planning and close stakeholder coordination, the project successfully transformed a complex operational environment into a modern logistics campus that strengthens the region's air cargo network and supports the efficient movement of goods.
