The MHM Office Renovation project transformed the historic Sanitary Laundry Building in Knoxville, Tennessee, through a comprehensive preservation and adaptive reuse effort. Originally constructed in 1925, the century-old building was restored and modernized while retaining its defining historic features. The project included extensive brick and concrete restoration, installation of historically accurate replica windows, reinforcement of the existing timber roof structure, and upgrades to accessibility through the addition of an architectural stair and ADA wheelchair lift. New mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems were integrated throughout the facility, creating a contemporary workplace within a preserved historic landmark.
