As Senior Vice President and Operations Leader, Joe provides executive oversight for our southeast Michigan, central Michigan and Dallas/Fort Worth regional offices. As a member of Christman’s board of directors he provides high-level oversight across the regions ensuring each project has resources to provide exceptional service to our clients.
A builder at heart, Joe is deeply committed to excellence in operations, quality, safety, and service. In his 20+ years in the industry, he has amassed experience across diverse sectors—education, healthcare, federal government, office, and historic preservation—and has successfully managed projects of all sizes and varying project delivery methods. Joe’s technical abilities and leadership skills guide project teams through the successful delivery of complex and high-profile projects, earning the respect of our clients and repeat business.
Joe is known for building lasting relationships and honoring commitments with integrity. He exemplifies leadership, work ethic, passion, and excellence, all while maintaining a sense of humor that inspires those around him.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in construction management from Michigan State University and an MBA from Northwood University. He has been with Christman since 2008.
Joe is a proud father of three and spends most of his free time at their sporting and school events. He and his wife, Bridget, also enjoy boating and traveling with friends and family.
