Tennessee Technological University
The Laboratory Science Building on the Tennessee Technological University (TTU) campus is the largest building on campus and home to the University’s chemistry, biology, biochemistry, forensics, cellular biology, medical biology, and earth science departments. This was also the first LEED certified building on the TTU campus. Construction of this facility fulfilled a longtime dream for the University, with several years going into the planning and design of the new space.
With input from department faculty, the spaces were tailored to TTU’s unique teaching and research needs. The facility boasts two buildings home to offices, classrooms, teaching and research labs, and ample spaces for collaboration among all of the science disciplines. An expansive outdoor quad space provides students with a large outdoor space to collaborate, study, and relax.
