The Christman Company hires Scott Orsburn as project manager
Scott Orsburn has joined The Christman Company as project manager, overseeing planning and construction projects for the firm’s office in Knoxville, Tennessee.
“Scott’s experience aligns with the needs of our company and clients,” said Marty Gibbs, vice president and general manager for The Christman Company’s operations in Knoxville. “With his proven leadership, strategic planning, budget and schedule management skills, he will successfully execute projects while maintaining our commitment to company values. We welcome him to the team.”
Prior to joining The Christman Company, Orsburn gained significant experience in the health care construction industry, working on projects totaling more than $600 million across the country.
Orsburn earned a bachelor’s degree in engineering technology as well as a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from East Tennessee State University. He is a LEED Green Associate, a designation for professionals with demonstrated knowledge of green building practices and standards related to the design, construction, usage and maintenance of buildings.
Most recently, he served as project manager and project controls manager for Eastman Chemical Company in Kingsport.
Orsburn recently relocated to the Farragut community with his wife, Carla, and two sons, Brayden and Brody. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking and photography and is an avid runner.
