Christman participated as a key sponsor for the combined 2012 Association for Preservation Technology International and International Preservation Trades Network (APT/PTN) conference held in Charleston, SC September 30 - October 4. While at the conference, Christman also sponsored a hands-on workshop for the trades to create two cannon bases for nearby Ft. Sumter. 

Tom Whitmore, project executive based in Christman's Mid-Atlantic headquarters office in Reston, VA, was also recently elected to a four-year term on the APTI board of directors and is also a member of the Ad Hoc Committee on Professional Recognition and Certification.
