Sam has become well known for his ability to listen effectively to the client, architect, and engineer to incorporate the design intent and vision of the client and convey ideas accurately to the project team. Sam has been in the construction industry more than 29 years and has acquired a multifaceted understanding of the industry along the way. Sam has a wide variety of successful project outcomes in his portfolio, including Chelsea Community Hospital, Eastern Michigan University Mark Jefferson Science Building, General Services Administration Vance Federal Court Building Renovation, Flint Capitol Theater Restoration, and the Henry Ford Detroit Pistons Performance Center and Center for Athletic Medicine. Sam joined Christman in 2004 as senior project manager of planning and was promoted to project executive in 2014, and vice president in 2022. Sam recently served as Chairman of the Board for Construction Association of Michigan (CAM).
